The new AirPods 4, coupled with the re-engineered fit, and the thoughtful audio performance with high performance drivers, make them a far-more capable competitor for anyone looking for a premium experience. $219 and $299 (for the ANC version) could buy a lot of 2021 AirPods 3s or Beats headphones. But don’t expect them to work like the 4s. They will help Apple continue its legacy as a premium audio-maker.
