The tech world is ever-changing but one thing has been constant with APPLE is success, they are always look for new ideas and their MACBOOK model is always putting some limit in the performance, design and usability. APPLE new M4 MACBOOK PRO have change the world of MACBOOK Device. This Performance book is also a popular tech trend which compare with previous version of M3 MACBOOK PRO. So let's take a closer look at the price, specification and features of M3 and M4 MACBOOK PRO.
The M4 MACBOOK PRO, which will start at $1,599 in its 14-inch version, leads the current lineup of APPLE laptops with:
The M3 MACBOOK PRO, released in 2023, set the pace with:
Other than the fact that the display specifications are pretty much identical between these two generations – which is something APPLE is proud to demonstrate in many of its videos and slides – the inclusion of the option of a nano-texture display gives the M4 a slight edge over its younger cousin. For those who like the nano-texture display to reduce glare from sunlight, they can do so without sacrificing the vividness of their screen – although we haven’t yet had a chance to test that claim.
Less interestingly, there’s one obvious point of differentiation: the colour choices. The M4 MACBOOK PRO comes in a sleek Space Black, in addition to the M1’s silver; the M3 MACBOOK PRO carries forward the idea of One God, One Device with its single option of silver.
These two models are the same size, as APPLE makes sure to keep its design consistent. But the new colour option and interior upgrades on the new M4 MACBOOK PRO make it look a little more modern and a little more choice than its predecessor.
One physical difference is a third Thunderbolt 4 port on the M4 MACBOOK PRO, which offers the user more options for peripherals and monitors than before. This port is a seemingly trivial change but emphasises APPLE’s consideration of how users want and need to work.
Although the M4’s performance specs are not yet known from actual use, APPLE’s projections anticipate great leaps over both the M3 and even the earlier M1 chips for photo editing, rendering and AI use. That underscores APPLE’s relentless attempt to provide each generation with a radically better computer than the last.
By any measure, batteries age, so it’s quite impressive that the M4 MACBOOK PRO was credited with a rated 24-hour battery life, even though it hasn’t gone through our hands-on battery tests (nor has the M3 MACBOOK PRO’s, by the way). If the rating is correct, it exceeds the 20-hour battery life of the M3 MACBOOK PRO. Because of this, the M4 MACBOOK PRO improves its value proposition, and further establishes itself as a professional- and creative-oriented value play.
Who should buy the M3 MACBOOK PRO over the M4 MACBOOK PRO? It’s a matter of how much better battery life, better port options, performance bumps and design changes matter to you – and how much you’re willing to pay for them. The M3 MACBOOK PRO is a strong contender, but if you’re a demanding professional who wants the latest and highest-performing model, or if you can afford to upgrade to the M4 MACBOOK PRO, it’s going to be very hard to resist.
But beyond the specs and the features, APPLE’s iterative strategy speaks to its continual pursuit of excellence and delighting its end-users. Every MACBOOK PRO model is an evolution in delivering a better user experience, a result of careful tinkering, performance enhancing and design innovation. And, who knows, maybe along the way, six-tenths of one millimetre will become a thing of the past.
The M4 MACBOOK PRO and the M3 MACBOOK PRO are the undisputed standard-bearers of the premium laptop market, each having its own advantages, thus APPLE fans can’t wait for the company to produce the next wonder.
