G Pad F 8.0 2nd Gen
Still haven’t caught the LG G Pad bug yet? Then maybe the LG G Pad F 8.0 2nd Gen might give you all the conviction you need to get on board with its amazing features.
The G Pad F 8.0 2nd Gen sports an 8-inches TFT display with zero-gap touch, an amazing 5-megapixel camera, a unique stylus pen, the QuickRemote feature, and exceptional battery life.
The company announced the LG G Pad F 8.0 2nd Generation in 2016. It is currently retailed at $300 for the 16 GB LTE version in most outlets across the country.
At that price, this G Pad offers a whole different world of affordable entertainment and more screen time. With the screen display, you can’t get so immersed with the true colors, sharp text, and vibrant images that come to life on the tablet’s expansive screen.
The design is effortless and lets you balance out work and play. User creativity is seriously considered with the stylus pen - it has a fiber tip for a thinner and more precise touch.
For its price and features, it is definitely a steal. However, if you are looking to own the G Pad F 8.0 2nd Gen or have owned it since its release in 2016, you should be preparing to upgrade to a newer device. If this is true, you should consider selling your G Pad F 8.0 2nd Gen on Gizmogo. You also have the option of swapping your device for a newer model available on the Gizmogo website.
Design Info: There is no doubt that the G Pad F 8.0 2nd Generation is an intentional step up in design, build, and texture. At a glance, you can tell that the tablet has a solid build and quite compact. It feels good in hand with its distinct curved edges and textured back panel that contributes to its extra grip.
A traditional, rectangular black bezel surrounds the G Pads 8-inch display. The right and left edge of the case curve into a slivery backside, which houses its 5MP rear camera.
Along the top-right edge of the case, you will find the volume control and power buttons. A small flap on the top left edge serves as a cover slot for the SIM card and the MicroSD card.
Still, on the top edge, a flap covers a full-size USB port and the headphone 3.5mm jack. The micro-USB power port is on the bottom of the case, next to a slot for the stylus pen.
It weighs approximately 349 grams; this is not in any way too chunky, so you don’t have to worry about the strain of weight when you carry it for long hours. As much as you would find this tablet fascinating enough for entertainment purposes, it also gets the work done with its quick and accessible features.
If you want to sell or swap your LG G Pad 8.0 2nd Generation tablet for another device, we can help you take care of it on Gizmogo.
Display Info: The G Pad 2nd generation sports a 1280 x 800-pixel resolution on an 8-inches screen. Although the screen display is very appreciable, it is not particularly a bright tablet. It measured 331 nits of brightness which is below the 361 tablet average within its budget range.
Regardless of this flaw in display brightness, you are still guaranteed a brilliant display on your tablet.
The touch screen is really responsive, and the QSlide function allows you to switch between multiple apps at once for superior multi-tasking. In terms of processing speed, it doesn’t quite compete with premium Samsung tablets and the Ipad. There are some delays in executing a command, but it is nothing over the top; it still gets the work done.
Chip Info: The operating system is built on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) edition. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad-Core processor and 1 GB of RAM.
Camera Info: It comes with a rear camera of 5MP and a front-facing camera of 2MP. The rear camera can take photos at up to 2560 x 1920 resolution and a full HD video at 1080p, but sadly it doesn’t come with a LED flash. The front camera can snap selfies at up to 2560 x 1600 resolutions; you can also do a live video call in HD 720p.
Size and Weight Info: It weighs about 349 grams and measures 210.8 x 124.2 x 10 mm in width, depth, and height.
Capacity Info: The LG G F Pad 8.0 2nd Generation is supported by 2GB RAM and internal storage of 16GB. It also makes provision for a MicroSD card that is expandable up to 128GB.
Audio Info: There are two tiny slits at the back of the tablet that serve as it inbuilt speakers. On an average level, the audio quality doesn’t perform poorly. There is also a 3.5 mm jack that serves as extra audio support for personal use.
Battery Info: LG puts a 4,200 mAh non-removable battery inside the G F Pad 8.0 2nd Generation. It has been estimated to have a standby time of up to 37 days and 6 hours on a full charge.
As a result of the battery power, it can be taken as the proper entertainment device on a long train ride. You shouldn’t have to worry about scuffling for a power port at any given time.
