Size & weight info:  The device measures120 x 194 x 11.1mm and weighs 350g. I would say that the device’s weight is appropriate for its size. This is a phablet, after all.

Display info: The IPS screen has a resolution of 1024 x 600. As expected of an IPS screen, the A3000s display has decent viewing angles and a tolerable brightness level. However, the display’s color reproduction is a little dull, and the screen appears grainy.

That said, you will enjoy watching movies on this screen. It can serve a family or a group of friends thanks to its decent viewing angles. Also, you will enjoy reading or viewing images on the screen. Some users argue that tablets are made for reading and writing or performing activities that are difficult on mobile. Camera info: The A3000 sports a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. On paper, the cameras don’t look good. So we didn’t expect much from them. In practice, the front-facing camera was barely enough for video conferencing, with abysmal performance in less-than-ideal lighting.

Pictures from the rear-facing camera performed better inside and out of intense light compared to the front-facing camera. Furthermore, Lenovo’s own camera software is surprisingly feature-rich, with many settings, facial recognition, and built-in HDR.

Chip info: The A3000 features a quad-core 1.2GHz MT8389 processor with 1GB of RAM. The chipset scored 1,075 in a multi-core test on Geekbench. When browsing the web, moving from program to app, or viewing HD video, the overall experience is rather smooth, as long as you don’t have too many apps open at the same time.

Battery info: Unfortunately, the A3000’s battery life is another area where it falls short. Even Lenovo rated it for just seven hours of WiFi web surfing on a single charge, and we’d say it’s closer to six if you intend on doing more demanding activities like streaming HD video or playing games.

So you have to carry a charger with you when you step out of the house. Alternatively, stick to basic functions to conserve battery until you get home.
